Biblical community is where we come alongside each other to grow and mature in our faith. When people gather in biblical community, it's an opportunity to demonstrate the love of God to one another and to the world around us. However, it's also where the enemy seeks to sow seeds of division. We need each other to reflect Christ in our lives so that our actions speak of Him even before we say a word. Christian community is the canvas that displays the love Christ has commanded us to show each other.

The term "Church" comes from the Greek word "ekklesia," which originally referred to a group "called out" to come together. In a Christian context, it means those who believe in Jesus and come together as a group, anytime and anywhere. The community of believers, as taught by the apostles, includes all individuals in God's covenant, both past, present, and future.

Romans 12:4-6 reminds us that we are one body with many members, each with different gifts given by God's grace. Authentic Christian community studies God's Word, fellowships together, shares in the Lord's Supper, and prays together, experiencing spiritual growth as God adds to His church. There is power in godly activities done together. Unity among believers is crucial in the Lord's work, encompassing the oneness of spirit, purpose, and mutual care, bringing God's blessing and accomplishing much for Christ.

Acts 2:42-47 illustrates the early Christian community, devoted to apostolic teaching, fellowship, breaking bread together, and prayer. They shared everything, meeting daily with joy and generosity, praising God and seeing the Lord add to their number daily those who were being saved.

This is the atmosphere Jesus enables us to create—a community of believers in Jesus Christ, welcoming all who will accept Him as Lord and Savior. You are welcome here.
